Birthday cake!

Cupcakes are tremendously easier for me to do, but my mom's friend needed a cake for her daughter's birthday so I gave it my best shot!  She turned 10 and for her birthday got to re-decorate her room.  She picked purple and black zebra stripes and so wanted a bed cake to match.  Here is how it turned out:

I really need to learn how to take better cake pictures!!  The inside of the cake (sorry no photo) was black and purple zebra striped too with a blue cotton candy filling.  Again, the whole thing is edible.

Elephant baby shower cupcakes

I just had an order for some cute boy baby shower cupcakes and we went with a blue and brown elephant theme.  The elephants and stars are made out of chocolate, yum!

I think these have been my favorite to make so far :)

Chocolate raspberry cream cupcakes and football!

I made these cupcakes to go with my Grandmother's birthday cake
they are a chocolate cake with a raspberry whipped cream frosting, no heavy topping on these little cakes!  Light and fluffy and they were oh so good!  One of my favorites for sure

I also made some Boise State football cupcakes for a fan's birthday and they came out pretty cute too.  Everything is edible, even the tiny goal posts.

Christmas cupcakes

My mom and I worked a craft bazaar earlier this December and these were the cupcakes that I had available!  They are all in the holiday spirit :)
White chocolate peppermint - with a Lindt truffle inside
Hot coco with candy cane mug handle
and coconut snowballs!

Hello Kitty cupcakes

I was recently asked to make some Hello Kitty cupcakes for an 8 year old's birthday party.  These were a big hit and the best part....they are entirely edible (minus the paper wrapper).  She picked a strawberry cupcake with strawberry cream filling topped with chocolate buttercream frosting.  I made the kitties and bows out of fondant.
